Iura Arata wins Best Supporting Actor in the 55th Blue Ribbon Awards

Iura Arata won the Best Supporting Actor for his role in the movie "Kazoku no Kuni" and collected his award during the ceremony held at Iino Hall on 14 February. He played the role of the elder brother of Ando Sakura, a Korean residing in Japan, who had been in North Korea for 25 years before being reunited with his family. Iura mentioned that he was greatly honoured by the fact that he could win this award along with Ando who got the Best Leading Actress award and the director Yang Yeonhee who got the best movie award. He also thanked Yang for asking him to take on his role which was truly memorable for him.
