Hirosue Ryoko wins Best Supporting Actress in the 55th Blue Ribbon Awards

Hirosue Ryoko attended the 55th Blue Ribbon Awards held at Iino Hall on 14 February where she was given the award of Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the movie "Kagidorobo no Mesoddo". She was dressed in a black dress and wore jewellery worth JPY 21.5m from Harry Winston. Hirosue commented that she had played a lot of cute and innocent roles in the past but this movie posed a huge challenge as she had to be a career woman who doesn't smile at all. It was a tough time trying to contain her laughter that the director had to tell her to keep a straight face.
