Supporting cast line-up of new movie "Zenigata" announced

The supporting cast line-up of new movie "Zenigata" starring Ootani Ryohei had been announced. The story features Ootani as the lead character Zenigata Tomio who operates an izakaya named Zenigata with his younger brother Shizuka which is located at a corner of a back alley. When the clock strikes midnight, the izakaya becomes an illegal moneylending shop which charges interest as high as 30 percent in 10 days and drives their clients to the edge with their extreme collection methods. Among their clients are many who have debts which they have no means of repaying and come to Zenigata as a last resort.

Kobayashi Katsuya will be playing the role of Shizuka while Satsukawa Aimi will be playing a cabaret hostess Saotome Tamaki who is obsessed with buying branded goods and deep in debt. Adachi Yumi plays Sanada Rumi who also owes huge debts to the Zenigata brothers. BOYS AND MEN's Tanaka Shunsuke will play Kenmochi Yakumo, a former pro boxer and Tamaki Yuuki will play a thug Kabayama Hiroshi. Masu Takeshi plays Nikaidou Takeshi, a police station chief who knows the past of the brothers while Shibukawa Kiyohiko will play a hardcore yakuza Isogaya Ken.

The movie will be released in cinemas from 26 May.
