EXILE's TAKAHIRO & Takei Emi announce the arrival of their first daughter

EXILE's TAKAHIRO and Takei Emi announced the arrival of their first daughter in a joint statement released through his agency on 12 March. Although there were no details on her birth date nor weight, the couple expressed their thanks to everyone for their support and pledged to work together to build a warm family.

TAKAHIRO and Takei met on the set of Winter 2014 drama "Senryokugai Sousakan" and reunited in the sequel drama SP the following year before they started dating and were first romantically linked in April the same year. The couple got married on 1 September last year before she appeared as the lead in NTV Autumn 2017 drama "Ima kara anata wo kyouhaku shimasu" which wrapped up in December last year. Since then, Takei had been on maternity break.
