Screening and talk event of NTV Winter 2017 drama "Shikaku Tantei Higurashi Tabito"

The first-episode-screening and talk event of NTV Winter 2017 drama "Shikaku Tantei Higurashi Tabito" was held at NTV's HQ on 18 January which was attended by the lead actor Matsuzaka Toori and director Tsutsumi Yukihiko. The drama which began its run from 22 January, is shown at 10.30pm on Sundays.

During the event's Q & A session, one of the fans in the audience suddenly asked Matsuzaka and Tsutsumi what they wanted to do at that moment. Tsutsumi replied that he was craving for gyoza while Matsuzaka commented that he felt like drinking beer. He also revealed that his co-stars are people who love to drink so he hopes to be able to go for a drinking session with them soon. In response to this, Tsutsumi said that they had a year-end's party during a filming break thanks to Matsuzaka's insistence that they should hold the party.

When asked how he prepared himself to play a detective who lost his senses except sight, Matsuzaka said that he had to be conscious of this fact by doing things such as not reacting when people called out to him from his back and that his co-stars had helped him a lot during the process. Tsutsumi also apologised to the fans that the version of episode 1 which they saw was actually unfinished and there were some edits which needed to be made before the actual broadcast.
