  1. The absence of Matsujun in this survey is perplexing.
Is this the same company running Nikkei Talent Power Ranking survey?

  2. I believe the Nikkei survey is different from this done by Video Research. As for the absence of Matsujun in the top 50, I remember coming across an article about it saying that even though his latest drama did well in the ratings aspect, his personal popularity seems to be quite low for some reason.

  3. Thanks Chiaki for the reply :)
Matsujun didn't ranked in 2015 too. That's too bad..he's really won me over with "this is MJ" and 99.9. Japan should appreciate him more lol.

I just checked, Talent Power Ranking has wider survey area. It's done by talentsearch.jp
Investigative method: Fax investigation / web inquiry
Timing of implementation: Four times a year (February, May, August and November)
Study area: Tokyo and three prefectures (Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, Kanagawa)
    Surveyed talent number: 1250 name
    Surveyed number: 4400 people

Video Research survey distributed/collected questionnaires around 30km from Tokyo Station. Smaller pool of participants.
