"TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" to be postponed for release due to bus accident in Karuizawa

Asmik Ace and Toho announced that the movie "TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" which had been scheduled to be screened in cinemas from 6 February, will be postponed for release due to the bus accident in Karuizawa-machi, Nagano which resulted in the deaths of 15 people. The movie which is directed by Kudo Kankuro and features Kamiki Ryunosuke and Nagase Tomoya as the leads, talks about how a senior high school student Daisuke (Kamiki) dies during a bus accident while on a school trip and ends up in hell. He meets Kira K (Nagase) the vocalist and guitarist of the band "Hells" from the Hell Agricultural Senior High School who tries to help Daisuke come back to life so that he can reunite with his classmate who he had been holding a torch for. As the movie contains scenes about a bus accident which is likely to make people think of the recent Karuizawa bus accident, the movie companies decided to shelve the release of the movie for the time being. In relation to this move, the screening event and the talk event "Meet the Filmmaker" featuring Kudo on 22 January at Tokyo Apple Store Ginza will be cancelled. The new release date of the movie has not been decided.
