Nishijima Hidetoshi stars in suspense thriller movie "Creepy"

Nishijima Hidetoshi and director Kurosawa Kiyoshi's fourth collaboration, the suspense thriller movie "Creepy" will be shown in cinemas from 18 June 2016 and the trailer was recently released to the public. The movie which is based on the novel by Maekawa Yutaka who had won the 15th Nihon Mystery Bungaku Taisho, features Nishijima as the lead character Takakura who is a former police officer and working as a criminologist now. While facing difficulties in the analysis of an unresolved case of a family's disappearance, Takakura and his wife Yasuko who is played by Takeuchi Yuko move to a new house. However, this does not mark the beginning of a happy life as Takakura faces immense pressure due to his neighbours i.e. the Nishino family who is behaving mysteriously and in a strange way. This eventually leads to his wife crumbling psychologically due to the stress and Takakura's fears are intensified when the daughter of the Nishino family Mio confesses to him that the man who is supposedly her father, is actually a total stranger. Kagawa Teruyuki plays the father in the Nishino family, Kawaguchi Haruna plays the sole survivor in the family whose disappearance is being investigated by Takakura and Higashide Masahiro plays the police officer Nogami.
