Production press conference and screening event of TV Asahi Spring 2014 drama "Shinigami-kun"

The production press conference and  screening event of TV Asahi Spring 2014 drama "Shinigami-kun" was held on 12 April which was attended by the cast members Ohno Satoshi,  Kiritani Mirei, Suda Masaki and Matsushige Yutaka and 500 viewers. The drama which will begin its run from 18 April in the Fridays 11.15pm timeslot, features Ohno as a newbie reaper who goes to fetch those about to die and can fly around in the sky. As such, Ohno appeared at the event "flying" from 11.8m while suspended by wires.

This is the second time that Ohno is playing a non-human since his last appearance as a monster in NTV's "Kaibutsu-kun" in spring 2010. When news of the offer came, fellow Arashi members had a good laugh over Ohno playing a non-human again. With regard to this, Ohno commented that he must have given the impression that he isn't like a typical human being thus he keeps getting such roles. When asked the question on the order of who he wanted to fetch first in his capacity as the reaper, Ohno hesitated for a long while before deciding on Sakurai Sho since he is the next oldest in the group. As for the question on who he wants to see on his deathbed, Ohno chose his fellow Arashi members and singled out Ninomiya Kazunari if he could only choose one of them.

On the other hand, Kiritani who plays Ohno's supervisor in the drama, gets to scold him with very harsh words because she is deeply dissatisfied with his work performance. Regarding this, Kiritani said that it is an interesting experience since she doesn't get to say such things in real life.
