While other parasites try to attack Shinichi and Migi who are slowly becoming friends, he and his childhood friend Satomi (Hashimoto) meet a school teacher Tamiya Ryoko (Fukatsu) who believes in the possibility of human beings and parasites being able to co-exist rather than be at each other's throats.
