Seto Koji and Kitano Kii will be starring in the real-life adaptation movie of popular novel "Boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai" (I have few friends) which has accumulated shipment figures of 5.55 million copies and was made into an anime showing on TBS. The movie will feature Seto as the lead character Hasegawa Kodaka while Kitano will play his friend Mikazuki Yozora. Filming was completed in June this year and the film is scheduled to be shown during New Year 2014.

Kodaka, a student who had just transferred to Saint Kuronika three months ago, finds himself still without a friend because of his exotic looks as a half-Japanese, his blond hair and fierce face which makes him look like a bad guy. One day, he meets Yozora who is talking to her imaginary friends in the classroom and she later makes him form the "Neighbours Club" with the aim of helping people like them who don't have friends to make new friends. As more people join the club, they are able to live the lives they want to in the virtual game world but starts to feel a change in their real lives as the line between reality and imagination becomes blurred.
