FUNKY MONKEY BABYS' leader-cum-vocalist Funky Kato announced through his blog on 15 April about his marriage to a former manager of his on the same day. According to the statement, the couple chose to get married on this day as it is his wife's birthday and that it has been 10 years since he embarked on this journey to sing as a career where his wife had been a huge source of support along with his fans. Kato's wife is said to be more than 1.65m tall with a gentle and considerate character. Plans for the wedding have not been made and Kato's wife is currently not pregnant.
