Kaname Jun was reported on 18 February to be getting married to a former celebrity of the same age who operates a company in the beauty industry now. According to the report, they got engaged earlier this year after dating since autumn last year. During an interview on TBS talk show "Harajuku Net Cafe" shown on 26 January, Kaname admitted that he had a steady girlfriend and he saw no reason to hide it. Besides being known for his roles in various movies and dramas, Kaname was also picked as the assistance mayor of Kagawa Prefecture last year in its rebranding as a prefecture known for its famous udon.
