Matsuzaka Toori will be starring as the lead in the real-life adaptation movie of 1970s science-fiction anime "Kagaku Ninjatai Gacchaman" which will be a memorial movie for Nikkatsu's 100th anniversary and Tatsunoko Pro's 50th anniversary. The movie talks about 5 young people coming together to form the Kagaku Ninjatai in order to fight a mysterious organisation wanting to take over the world. The anime garnered average ratings of 21% during its run had been made into anime movies twice in the past. Besides Matsuzaka, Gouriki Ayame, Ayano Go, Hamada Tatsuomi and Suzuki Ryohei will also play members of the Kagaku Ninjatai. The movie is scheduled to be released next summer and filming begins on 15th Oct.
