First-day-screening event of new movie "Mogura no Uta Hong Kong Kyousoukyoku"

The first-day-screening event of new movie "Mogura no Uta Hong Kong Kyousoukyoku" was held at Cinema Mediage in Odaiba on 24 December which was attended by the director Miike Takashi and cast members Ikuta Toma, Honda Tsubasa, Furuta Arata, Nanao, Kamiji Yuusuke Naka Riisa and Tsutsumi Shinichi. The movie which is based on the popular manga by Takahashi Noboru and the script written by Kudo Kankuro, is the sequel to the original movie which features Ikuta as Kikukawa Reiji, an undercover police officer who infiltrates into a gang.

Ikuta recounted that the tough filming caused him to suffer side effects such as being unable to get rid of his fatigue no matter how much he slept so he had to go to the hospital for a checkup. It was then when he was told by the doctor that the condition was caused by an excess level of adrenaline which made Ikuta somewhat proud about it.

As the event coincided with Christmas Eve, Ikuta teased the audience of 600 by asking if they had no lover to spend the day with so that's why they came to watch the movie in the morning. He then continued by saying that everyone must have plans after the screening and wished them a good day ahead on such an important occasion.

Honda who is the heroine in this movie, said that there were a number of scenes which allowed her to challenge herself such as scolding Reiji fiercely like a gangster. However, as she sounded too natural like a real gangster, Ikuta teased her by saying that she always called him in a crude way which Honda was quick to deny.
