Tanaka Rena will be starring in the NHK Matsuyama drama "Aruku, Aruku, Aruku ~ Shikoku Henromichi" (Walk, Walk, Walk ~ Shikoku Pilgrimage Journey) which will be shown via NHK BS Premium on 20 January 2013. The drama features Tanaka as a 32-year-old woman who is facing problems in her work and love life thus set out on a pilgrimage journey to Shikoku and meets the female owner of an inn and a male customer there where they exchange stories about their lives. The filming will be entirely held in Ehime Prefecture so as to showcase the beauty and culture in the Shikoku region. Co-stars include Ishida Ayumi and Inoue Jun.
