"Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de" to shoot its movie version in Singapore

The movie version of "Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de" which is due to be shown next year, will be filmed from late June to July on board a luxury cruise in Singapore. Regular cast members including Arashi's Sakurai Sho, Kitagawa Keiko and Shiina Kippei will continue to play their respective roles and guest stars include Miyazawa Rie, Kaga Takeshi, Sakuraba Nanami and Nakamura Masatoshi.

In the movie version, the story is set during Reiko's (Kitagawa) vacation on board their family cruise named "Princess Reiko" to Singapore. In actual fact, the cruise ship which will be used during the filming is called Super Star Virgo that is Asia's largest at 76,800 tonnes. The production crew is set to board the cruise ship twice between late June and July for four days and three nights each since 90 percent of the scenes are to be shot on the ship. There will also be scenes filmed around various spots in Singapore.

Now, should I start sourcing for a cruise ticket on board Super Star Virgo just to see Sakurai in person? ^__^ Too late for that? Oh well, it's still great news for all who are in Singapore especially those who are fans of the cast members!

Hi Elaine,

Nice to "meet" you too! I think the TV station is being quite ambiguous about when exactly the cast and crew will come to Singapore because "end June to July" is a really long period of time. Maybe they are just worried that fans will swarm wherever they go? ^__^ Smart gimmick by the cruise company as well because hardcore fans will be willing to spend close to 1K just to see them in person.
