Kimura Yoshino will make her comeback in her first drama since giving birth to her first child six months ago. She will be starring in NHK's Tuesday 10pm drama "Hatsukoi" (First Love) as a woman who gets caught between her first love and her husband.
Kimura's role is Murakami Midori who had a first love boyfriend played by Ihara Tsuyoshi but was betrayed by him in an unthinkable manner. Since then, she married a man younger than her (Aoki Munetaka) and has a son with him. However, she is struck by cancer and her ex appears in front of her again as a surgeon who operates on her. As she finds out the true reason behind her ex's betrayal, Midori has to contend with feelings for both men and decide how she wants to live from now on.
